We offer temporary and semipermanent fillers at Esthetics Center for Dermatology.
Injectable Filler Breakdown
Temporary: Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Lyft
Semipermanent: Juvéderm Voluma® XC, Radiesse®
Description: Soft-tissue filler is injected to enhance soft-tissue volume, recontour the face, diminish wrinkles, and fill in depressed areas as well as cellulite dimples. These can be temporary collagen- or hyaluronic acid-based injections, or longer-lasting injectables with microscopic particles that stimulate collagen deeper in the skin.
Length of Procedure: Thirty minutes to one hour
In/Out Patient: Outpatient
Recovery Time: Zero to ten days, depending on filler and area treated
Treatment Frequency: Temporary and semipermanent fillers may require more than one session to achieve desired results. Results will diminish if treatment is not repeated once the filler begins to reabsorb.
Risks: Temporary bruising, swelling and possible infection may occur. Semipermanent and permanent fillers may migrate or cause lumpiness and granulomas.
Duration of Results: Temporary fillers last three to twelve months; semipermanent fillers last twelve to twenty-four months.
You Should Know: Many fillers are currently in trials that are not yet FDA-approved. Ask Dr. Fuller specifically about the status of the fillers offered by Esthetics Center for Dermatology, and to find out which one is right for you.
