Esthetics Center for Dermatology is committed to providing our patients with excellent quality dermatologic medical and cosmetic care. In return, we respectfully request that you honor our credit policy.
As a Board Certified dermatologist, Dr. Fuller spent years laboring to carve out more time for individual patients within the clock-watching environment of doctors’ offices driven by HMOs and PPOs. Frustration with a system that is increasingly less time-friendly has led her to opt out of the healthcare insurance system. By opting out, Dr. Fuller removes another unnecessary stress – the inconsistency of insurance coverage for many dermatological medical and cosmetic procedures. By not filing insurance, Esthetics Center for Dermatology frees you from being confined by confusing managed care/insurance carrier guidelines so you can receive customized care tailored to your needs on your terms.
Since Dr. Fuller is not contracted nor participates with any insurance carrier, your out-of-network health benefits will apply, if available. We urge you to contact your insurance carrier to verify your benefits/coverage for out-of-network services, if this is of concern to you. We will provide you with an itemized billing statement for you to submit to your commercial health insurance carrier, flexible spending plan or healthcare reimbursement plan for possible reimbursement. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 704.370.2700.
Please note that Esthetics Center for Dermatology accepts credit card payments (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express) or cash (no checks please). It is our policy to receive payment in full at the time of service. We also reserve the right to obtain credit card authorization and/or payment, prior to certain procedures. Failure to pay at the time of service may result in the rescheduling of an appointment. However, failure to comply with our Patient Payment Policy may result in termination/discharge from the practice.
Thank you for understanding that observing this credit policy is part of creating a good patient/physician relationship
