·Avoid overexposure to the sun, which may cause uneven pigmentation and sunburns (avoid tanning beds).
·Receive a gentle and relaxing facial (only if you have had them regularly) no less than 5 days prior to the big day.
·Avoid extractions.
·Receive a manicure and pedicure one day before the wedding day.
·Receive your last waxing at this time, only if you have been receiving it previously.
·Do not use any new products, unless advised by a dermatologist.
·Consult with your hairstylist to find out when you should wash or deep condition your hair, so it can correlate to the hairstyle you are wearing for the big day.Also be sure to wash your hair with a mild and cleansing shampoo.
·Schedule an emergency appointment with a dermatologist if breakouts and/or skin care disaster strikes.
·Have your teeth professionally cleaned by your dentist.
·Practice the following regimen:
*drink plenty of H2O (avoid caffeinated and carbonated drinks)
*follow a good skin care regimen which matches your skin type
*always wear sunscreen daily
*pamper your whole body by extra moisturizing
*exercise regularly
*eat plenty of fruits and vegetable
*limit grease and fast food intake
*reduce salt intake to prevent bloating and water retention
*get plenty of rest (8 hours minimal)
